The Regional Transport Authority in Gurgaon has been receiving umpteen complaints regarding the inefficient services provided by the private agency entrusted with fixing high security registration plates on vehicles. We are unable to prepare number plates on time only in 2-3% of the cases,” said Arvind Sharda, deputy general manager of Link Utsav Registration Plates. “These are high security number plates and cannot be fixed if touts come for it. We need the owner to come with the vehicle documents,” said Sharda.The high security registeration plates scheme was launched in July 2012.
