3 Kochi-bound flights diverted to Thiruvananthapuram due to unusually heavy fog

Three international flights, which were bound towards Kerala’s Kochi airport, were diverted and instructed to land in Thiruvananthapuram due to heavy fog in the area. Following the intense fog, three flights which were headed towards Cochin International Airport were diverted. Ernakulam district received heavy rainfall on Wednesday night, which resulted in heavy fog forming around the city of Kochi on Thursday. As a result, three international flights which were supposed to land in Kochi on Thursday morning were diverted and instructed to land at the Thiruvananthapuram airport.
