Bannon has been referred to the Justice Department for contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena, and new reporting suggests he played a key role in the "command center" set up at the Willard Hotel, where he was joined by Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani, former New York police commissioner Bernard Kerik and conservative legal scholar John Eastman. They were angry trying to figure out what they could do and therein lies the importance of Steve Bannon and the reason why Steve Bannon is ignoring a subpoena and defying a congressional subpoena."
