VHP to hold Shobha Yatra in Wadala

Mumbai: Vishva Hindu Parishad’s city unit will hold a Shobha Yatra—Gudi Padwa procession—in Wadala on Sunday. The procession will proceed to MbPT Colony through Sangam Nagar,” Rajiv Chaubey, joint secretary of VHP city unit, said. Local units of VHP celebrate fortnight of the new year from Gudi Padwa to Hanuman Jayanti by holding processions in the city. Its local units also hold similar processions in other parts of the city, including Chembur, Dharavi, Powai and Worli in the last few days.
