India Today

An exam question from IIT Kanpur’s Department of Electrical Engineering has gone viral on social media, sparking online debate. The question references former Delhi chief minister and IIT alumnus Arvind Kejriwal, who, after losing the recent Delhi Assembly elections, wants to tune into Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s "Mann Ki Baat" on Vividh Bharti FM. IIT Kanpur later clarified that the question was designed to make learning more interactive for students. In a statement, the university has clarified that the instructor behind the question frequently employs references to famous individuals -- that could be fictional or real -- with a motive to spice up exams.
