Calicut University's software makes certificate issuance faster

Kozhikode: Certificate issuing will not be time-consuming anymore in Calicut University. The computer centre of the state's largest varsity has developed a new software that would substantially reduce the time taken for the process at present till the certificates get printed. The software also has additional security features preventing insiders generating fake ones. The centre director V. T. Madhu said the university was planning to use software for BSc students on a pilot basis. "The security features will help remove the present disadvantages where anyone who can access the software could create a fake certificate.
