Read our privacy policy After Jordan North revealed he was a “last minute” replacement on this year’s I’m a Celebrity, fans were left wondering who he stepped in for. Earlier this week, North, who ended up finishing in second place, told his fellow Radio 1 DJ Greg James that he almost missed out on a spot and was told “maybe next year” by producers. However, when a mystery celebrity dropped out, he was given 48 hours to pull everything together in order to be in north Wales in time for the show’s launch last month. According to a new report, the BBC Radio 1 DJ was drafted in after British rapper and DJ Naughty Boy – whose real name is Shahid Khan –pulled out of the ITV show.
