Voice referendum updates: Nation votes No to Voice to Parliament, with all six states rejecting change — as it happened

ABC

Reporting by Patrick Bell Independent senator for the ACT David Pocock said the referendum result showed the need for truth in political advertising laws. Senator Pocock made the statement at a gathering of Yes volunteers in Canberra after the ACT was the only Australian jurisdiction to vote in favour of a Voice to Parliament. Senator Pocock also took a swipe at federal Opposition Leader Peter Dutton, accusing him of using "dangerous politics". "We've seen cynical politics from Peter Dutton, I think really dangerous politics," he said.
