Karnataka university creates history, appoints first transgender guest lecturer

In a historic move towards inclusivity, K N Renuka Pujar has become the first transgender person to be appointed as a guest lecturer at a university in Karnataka. Pujar joined the Kannada Department at Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University's Nandihalli campus earlier this month.
