HYDERABAD: Social media teams will be constituted in all 33 districts to counter false information with regard to the Assembly elections due later this year. The ECI has asked district election officers and collectors to send names by April 30. The first-level checking of EVMs and voter-verifiable paper audit trail by nodal officers will be completed by June, in the presence of representatives of political parties. As those who complete 18 years of age by April 1 will be enrolled as voters, the office will come up with a supplementary voters list.
