
Minister R. Bindu launches two centres of excellence
The HinduHigher Education Minister R. Bindu formally inaugurated two Centres of Excellence – Centre of Excellence for Teaching Learning and Training, and Kerala Network for Research Support in Higher Education – at the Kerala State Higher Education Council here on Thursday. It is envisioned to provide shared and professional services with robust science and technology research infrastructure facilities under a single roof for the benefit of faculty, researchers, scientists and students. TLT will seek to enhance the pedagogical skills of educators, support higher education institutions in redesigning curricula, establish innovative teaching methodologies, encourage research on teaching and learning, and create partnerships with national and international institutions to share best practices in teaching, learning and training.
