Congress demands judicial probe into Karnataka Police recruitment scam, dismissal of ministers
India TodayThe Karnataka Congress has demanded a judicial probe into the Police Sub-inspector recruitment scam. “They have no right to continue as ministers,” said former Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, as he called for the sacking of both the state home minister, Araga Jnanendra, and higher education minister, CN Ashwath Narayan. EARLIER ARRESTS The arrests in the PSI recruitment scam began on April 18, when The Crime Branch-Criminal Investigative Division in Karnataka arrested seven people. On May 2, 12 people from Bengaluru were arrested by the Karnataka Police Crime Branch for large-scale cheating in the PSI recruitment scam. Now, Karnataka Congress leader, Siddaramaiah, has called for the dismissal of home minister Araga Jnanendra and higher education minister, CN Ashwath Narayan.
