Raiders’ defensive free-agent wish list: Help is needed … everywhere

The Raiders had their first free-agent visit this week. Backup option: Romeo Okwara Okwara is lesser known and likely won’t have as robust of a market as Lawson, but he was highly productive with 10 sacks and 18 quarterback hits last season. He’s longer than Lawson at 6-4, 263 pounds and also played in a hybrid defensive front last season. He’s had nine interceptions and 28 passes defensed throughout his six-year career and has started at free safety in his last two seasons with the Vikings. He only played 43 percent of Pittsburgh’s defensive snaps last season, but would see an upgrade in playing time with the Raiders.
