Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One is Iron Man Bollywood version. We decode on Monday Masala
India TodayBefore Hrithik Roshan's Krrish, Indian audiences had very few superheroes to boast of. Shah Rukh Khan's G.One gave us our very own Iron Man, with no superpowers but a HART, which was not gold but blue. In a dream sequence, Prateek, son of Shah Rukh Khan's Shekhar Subramaniam, sees his father as a superhero warrior Lucifer, who fights three sahelis of Bruce Lee, Ninja girls named Uski Lee, Iski Lee and Sabki Lee, to save Priyanka Chopra. One of the most hilarious scenes from Ra.One is the one where Kareena's Sonia is outside the Mumbai airport with G.One and Prateek, and Rajnikanth makes a special appearance as Chitti from Robot! While Ra.One received its share of criticism for being a haphazard medley of many Hollywood superhero films like Iron Man, The Matrix, Superman, Terminator 2, Tron and not so impressive levitating and disappearing acts we’ve seen in Rajinikanth blockbusters, it is surely a fun film to watch.
