'Unstoppable' TD poised to regain power: Naidu
Deccan ChronicleKakinada: Former chief minister and Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu said that the party’s victory in the upcoming Assembly elections was certain as it is unstoppable. Addressing party’s Zone-II meeting, covering 36 Assembly constituencies in erstwhile East and West Godavari districts here on Saturday, he said that it is a foregone conclusion that the YSRC will be given a sound drubbing. He said that during the TD regime, several lift irrigation projects were constructed at a cost of '68,000 crore and provided water to Krishna and Rayalaseema also along with Godavari districts. While the party’s Kakinada district president Jyothula Naveen Kumar presided over the meeting, senior leaders K. Atchannaidu, Nimmakayala Chinarajappa, Nimmala Ramanaidu, Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary, Vegulla Jogeswara Rao, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Prathipati Pulla Rao and Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy graced the occasion.
