A.P. witnesses rush for land registrations on Jan. 31, a day before revised values come into force

The revised market values for land registration will come into force in both urban and rural areas across Andhra Pradesh from February 1, 2025, according to R.P. He instructed the Commissioner and Inspector General, Registrations and Stamps, to implement the revised market values in urban and rural areas and also structure values in the State with effect from February 1. Benefits The new market values would help people in getting higher loans from banks by reflecting the true value of the lands and also boost land registrations. Reacting to the last minute rush at all the registration offices across the State on Friday, a day before the revised market values come into force, Mr. Hari Narayanan said they were expecting at least 10,000 registrations on the day.
