Naidu Vows Strict Measures Against Crime, Drug Abuse and Land Grabbing
Deccan ChronicleVijayawada: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu addressing the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Thursday reiterated his government’s commitment to women's safety, law enforcement, and eradicating drug abuse. Regarding land issues, Naidu condemned the controversial Land Titling Act introduced by the previous government, which he repealed immediately upon taking office. From now on, land grabbers will face strict legal action, including imprisonment and forfeiture of encroached property," he said, promising swift punishment for offenders within six months. The Chief Minister also pledged to establish cyber police stations in every district to tackle crimes committed under the guise of politics and ensure law and order, stating, "Wrongdoers will not be spared.
