Man charged with murder of teenager in Sydney's south-west allegedly chased, slashed him, court told

ABC

A court has heard that a man accused of murdering a teenager found dead in bushland on Sydney's outskirts allegedly chased him and slashed him with a knife while saying "I'll f***ing kill ya, you f***ing dog". The court was read some of the alleged facts, in which police say 32-year-old Jacob Greig told the 15-year-old boy: "I'm going to chop your f***ing hand off." The court was told he then tried to open the rear passenger door of Mr Greig's vehicle, with video and audio of the incident capturing the teenager saying: "I'm trying to get home." Victim left with 'trail of blood' Lawyer for the accused Javid Faid made an application for Mr Greig's release, arguing he should be released to home detention, while describing the circumstances as "tragic".
