Should you be wary of metal stocks in 2025?
Live MintMUMBAI : While sectors like financials and information technology are stealing the spotlight with bullish predictions, metals seem to be the market's underdog. Uncertainty persists, especially regarding potential tariff policies under the Trump administration, which could impact global trade and the metals sector. Harsha Upadhyaya, CIO-equity at Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Co. Ltd, has also recommended staying away from metals, citing challenges like sluggish global growth and ongoing overcapacity in China.
