In the aptly titled “ The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” the camera, and star and producer Jessica Chastain, dare us to consider what’s underneath. But although “Tammy Faye” may be imperfect, it does succeed in at least one significant way: We’re not just looking at her makeup anymore. “The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” a Searchlight Pictures release in theaters Friday, is rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America for “sexual content and drug abuse.” Running time: 126 minutes.
