Abhay Deol unveils trailer of Trial By Fire based on Uphar cinema tragedy, watch
Hindustan TimesAbhay Deol has unveiled the first trailer of his upcoming project, Trial By Fire - a Netflix original based on the real life Uphar cinema tragedy. It is based on Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy's book Trial by Fire: The Tragic Tale of the Uphaar Fire Tragedy. Abhay and Rajshri play the lead couple in Trial By Fire that also features Anupam Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah, Shilpa Shukla, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajesh Tailang, and Shardul Bharadwaj. Talking about Trial By Fire, Prashant Nair said in a press statement, “Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy are inspiring examples of the kind of resilience and fortitude it takes to move the needle even slightly in this country.” He added, "What happened to them and the way they have been forced to fight for justice is truly horrific and, unfortunately, there are countless other people today in similar situations.
