Ray Hadley calls out ABC presenter Michael Condon after he didn't say the word 'Easter' - sparking what appears to be yet another backflip from the broadcaster
Radio personality Ray Hadley has taken aim at an ABC presenter who appeared to avoid using the word Easter when broadcasting from Sydney's Royal Easter Show. On Tuesday Michael Condon from ABC radio's Country Hour presented his show from the event but the word was conspicuously absent, at one point referring to it as 'The Royal Show'. The ABC appears to have performed a backflip after one of its radio presenters was called out for avoiding the word Easter when broadcasting from the the Sydney Royal Easter Show Country Hour presenter Michael Condon was called out by Ray Hadley Hadley pointed out the event is put on by the Royal Agricultural Society and the official full title appears on all the signage and in the media guide. It appears Hadley's comments have made it to the ears of Mr Condon, or one of the higher-ups at the ABC, with the host immediately telling listeners on Wednesday's program that he was indeed broadcasting from the Royal Easter Show.
