China border, pilgrimage for Indians: 6 terms reached at Ajit Doval-Wang Yi meet

KEY CONSENSUS Doval and Yi reiterated the importance of maintaining a political perspective on the overall bilateral relationship while seeking a fair, reasonable, and mutually acceptable framework for settling the India-China border issue. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continue seeking a fair, reasonable, and mutually acceptable package solution to the boundary issue, in line with the political guidelines agreed upon by the special representatives of the two countries in 2005, and pledged to take positive measures to promote this process. NSA Doval invited Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to India at a "mutually convenient" time to hold the next round of Special Representatives' talks.
