'It's all vexatious lies' Several teachers say they made numerous reports to the Northern Territory Education Department and asked for the assistant teacher to be stood down while the allegations were properly investigated. The assistant teacher strongly denied his former colleague's version of events, saying the incident was "accidental" and that he was adjusting his trousers when his belt slipped, exposing his underwear only. The NT Education Department did not answer majority of the ABC's questions, including about allegations raised by teachers, but a spokesperson said workplace issues had been raised and dealt with in accordance to HR processes. The teacher filed a formal complaint to a senior official within the education department, saying she felt so intimidated by the assistant teacher's alleged behaviour she couldn't continue in her role.
