Mike Pence on witness list for Fani Willis' election racketeering case
Raw StoryFormer Vice President Mike Pence could testify against his former boss in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' sprawling racketeering case related to the 2020 presidential election. CNN reports that "prosecutors in the Georgia election subversion case against former President Donald Trump have officially listed former Vice President Mike Pence as one of the witnesses who could be called to testify at trial." Although it's not known what Pence would say under oath, CNN notes that in the past he has pushed back against Trump's claims that the 2020 election was stolen and that he had the power to unilaterally throw out certified election results. Pence himself has said that he would "always comply with the law" if subpoenaed to testify in any 2020 election-related case.
