Kala Parba: Drawings and artefacts attract people to Kadri Park

A wide range of drawings, artefacts and sculptures were on display at the two-day art festival ‘Kala Parba’, which began at Kadri Park in Mangaluru on Satuday. Among the stalls include the one of 72-year old Rajan from Kannur district who displayed attractive acrylic paintings on mythology namely ‘Ananthashayana’ and ‘Durga Devi’. PU student Jyeshta Kotekar had a stall displaying different sizes of ‘Huli vesha’ faces made using fibre. Sukaya Nagarajbof Kuloor displayed wall hangings and ‘Goodu Deepas’ she has made using macrame thread.
