Not great for civil aviation: Jyotiraditya Scindia reacts to Go First crisis

Not great, said Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia about the Go First airline undergoing a financial crisis. In its insolvency petition to the National Company Law Tribunal, Go First airline had blamed US aerospace manufacturer Pratt and Whitney for its financial troubles. The aviation regulator took action immediately and is waiting for Go First's plan to resume flights," Scindia said. "DGCA has examined the response of Go First and has issued an order under the prevailing regulations directing them to process the refunds to passengers as per the timelines specifically stipulated in the relevant regulation,” the aviation regulator said.
