Madhuri Dixit shows you how to make ultimate monsoon snacks combo – onion bhajia and masala chai

The actress expressed her fondness for onion bhajias in a recently-posted YouTube video featuring her husband Dr Shriram Nene and younger son Ryan. The trio depicted four cooking ways to make onion bhajias and explained the pros and cons of each technique too. Watch the video here: Ingredients required to make Onion Bhajia - 2 medium-sized onions - 2/3 cup besan - 2 tablespoons rice flour - 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger - 1 green chilly finely chopped - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder - A pinch of baking soda - 1 tablespoon oil - 2 to 3 tablespoons of water Method: Combine diced onions, besan, rice flour, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, ginger and green chili in a bowl. Sharing the pros and cons of using the deep and shallow frying method to make onion bhajia, Madhuri and Dr Nene shared that it will give a more traditional texture and flavour to the fritter and take less time to cook.
