Wipro techies run in 110 cities to celebrate camaraderie
The QuintBengaluru, Sep 22 Celebrating the spirit of camaraderie, thousands of global software major Wipro's techies, their families, friends, alumni, customers, partners and suppliers ran for fun in 110 cities across 34 countries, said the IT behemoth on Sunday. "The Spirit of Wipro run with a'#FurtherTogether' as the theme for the 14th consecutive year reinforced our core values to treat each person with respect, be global and responsible, and integrity in everything we do," said the city-based software vendor in a statement here. "The run is a testament of what the spirit of togetherness and collaboration can achieve," said Wipro chief HR officer Saurabh Govil. Proceeds from the run are used by the company's community initiatives arm for causes identified by locations globally with a 100 per cent matching amount from the company.
