How Raj Thackeray's party helped Uddhav Sena retain Mumbai in Maharashtra

Among the 20 seats won by the Uddhav Sena, 10 were decided by margins smaller than the votes secured by MNS candidates. In 8 of these seats, the MNS candidates pulled away the votes from Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena, allowing Uddhav Sena to maintain their stronghold in Mumbai. The Uddhav Sena candidate, Mahesh Sawant, won the seat with a margin of 1,316 votes, defeating Shiv Sena's Sada Sarvankar. Jogeshwari East: The UBT candidate secured victory by a margin of 1,541 votes, polling 77,044 votes, while the MNS polled 64,239.
