Vitesse fan shatters Ajax team bus driver’s cheekbone, eye socket

A Vitesse fan assaulted the Ajax bus driver after the match between the two football clubs in the Gelredome in Arnhem on October 25th. The Amsterdam team's bus driver suffered a broken cheekbone and a tear in his eye socket. The altercation between the Vitesse fan and the bus driver happened sometime between the final whistle and the Ajax team's departure back to Amsterdam. The bus driver confronted the fan after he tried to stick Vitesse stickers on the Ajax bus, the newspaper reports.
