Read our privacy policy Tributes from fans and fellow entertainment stars are pouring in following the news that Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce has died aged 20. “It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron,” a spokesperson said on behalf of the Boyce family. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.” A Disney Channel spokesperson said: “From a young age, Cameron Boyce dreamed of sharing his extraordinary artistic talents with the world. He will be dearly missed.” Fans expressed their shock on social media at the news and paid tribute to the late actor, with whom many had grown up watching on TV: Boyce was set to appear as a series regular in HBO’s new show Mrs Fletcher, as well as a TV spinoff of the film American Satan – called Paradise City – about rock stars trying to navigate the music business.
