Read our privacy policy One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton has spoken about the sexual harassment she suffered on the set of the teen drama. In 2017, Burton was among several One Tree Hill cast and crew members who claimed they had been sexually harassed by series creator Mark Schwahn. “I had such strong relationships on the show and I still do,” Burton, who was on the show for six years before she left in 2009, told People magazine. The guilt that comes with that is really difficult.” Burton said she would “always be angry” about the abuse she endured and that it has an impact on how she parents her two-year-old daughter, George, who she had with her husband, The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
