3 UPSC aspirants seek extra attempt from SC as they missed mains exam due to Covid-19
India TodaySeeking an extra attempt to appear in the exams, three candidates who had cleared UPSC 2021 prelims exam but were not able to appear for all the papers of last month's main exams as they tested positive for Covid-19 approached the Supreme Court. Arguments put forward by petitioners The petitioner's lawyer further informed the bench that the UPSC mains examination was held in the second week of January and two of the petitioners had appeared for a few exams before they tested positive for Covid-19. Absence of UPSC policy regarding such petitioners It further stated that there was no UPSC policy in place to provide accommodation for petitioners who tested positive for Covid-19 during the mains examination or before it.
