Hindustan Times Media Ltd. operates Firefly for commission-based labour supply and employment services. Feeling aggrieved, the Complainant approached the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Mumbai Suburban and filed a consumer complaint against HT Media. Observations by the District Commission: The District Commission noted that despite completing online training, the Complainant's access to the portal was deactivated just two days later, which caused significant financial losses.
