Mental health: IPS survey shows 20% increase in mental health cases since lockdown

Mental health cases: Statistics Indian Psychiatry Society recently conducted a survey and found out that the no of mental health cases had increased by 20 percent since the lockdown and that at least one in five Indians were affected. The past 6 months have been quite challenging and have been an experiment in social isolation, breaking habits that include touching your face but this pandemic has provided us with an opportunity to look into ourselves like never before and to give our mental health issues a top priority which will certainly make us future-ready in every aspect. Here are some ways to deal with social isolation: Don’t be ashamed of being anxious or any mental health issue as all of us are in this together Schedule: keep yourself occupied and Schedule your day according to the day’s responsibilities both professionally and personally. Be that person and spread kindness In the end, Give yourself and people around you the credit to have made it to the 7th month of 2020 and Use this isolation to work on yourself, your mental health issues and it would certainly help bring more light in 2021.
