Nara Devaansh Bags World Record in Chess, CM Naidu Overjoyed

VIJAYAWADA: Nine-year-old Devaansh Nara, grandson of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and son of education, IT, electronics and RTGS minister Lokesh, has achieved the world record for being the “Fastest Checkmate Solver – 175 Puzzles.” The record-making event featured Devaansh tackling a sequence of progressively challenging checkmate puzzles, all selected from the renowned chess compilation by László Polgár, within a tight timeframe.The World Book of Records London oversaw the event held on December 18 at the NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad before issuing the certificate.Devaansh gave credit for the record to his parents Brahmani and Lokesh, apart from coach K. Rajashekar Reddy. I am sure this world record is just a milestone in his journey of chess!”Taking to X, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said, “Well done, @naradevaansh! You've worked diligently for several months to prepare for this achievement, and I'm proud of you, my little Grand Master!”Devaansh’s mother Brahmani wrote, “Overjoyed to share that @naradevaansh has achieved the World Record.
