A Congress MLA from Firozepur Jihirka, Mewat, Mamman Khan has moved Punjab & Haryana High Court today, seeking directions to constitute a high level Special Investigation Team comprising officers not below the rank of Inspector General of Police and to transfer cases pertaining to the incidents of violence that took place in Nuh, Haryana on 30 July.The petition filed through. A Congress MLA from Firozepur Jihirka, Mewat, Mamman Khan has moved Punjab & Haryana High Court today, seeking directions to constitute a high level Special Investigation Team comprising officers not below the rank of Inspector General of Police and to transfer cases pertaining to the incidents of violence that took place in Nuh, Haryana on 30 July. The petition filed through Advocate Arshdeep Singh Cheema An FIR was lodged on August 01 under sections 148,149,153-A,379-A, 436,506 of IPC at Police Station Nagina, District Nuh pertaining to violence in the area which was followed by the demolition. The plea states that Khan received a notice under 160 CrPC in the above FIR and Home Minister and the Chief Minister of the State have given statements to the Press regarding the involvement of the petitioner and further alleging that he was the "mastermind of the occurrence."
