BJP slams Delhi's education policies, flags high failure rates, mismanagement

India Today

The BJP has launched sharp criticism of the Delhi government’s education policies, accusing it of failing students and mismanaging public funds. Gupta highlighted “high failure rates” in Classes 9 and 11, claiming that nearly three lakh students failed between 2022-24 and were expelled. UNUSED BUILDINGS AND IRREGULARITIES Pointing to alleged mismanagement, Gupta claimed that a Rs 45 crore SOSE building in Dariyapur Kala has remained unused for over 1.5 years due to staffing shortages. BJP’S CALL FOR ACCOUNTABILITY Gupta questioned how the Delhi government could claim to lead an education revolution while failing to ensure basic infrastructure and staffing.
