Let’s Talk series as part of Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2025-26 begins
The HinduNikhil Chopra, the curator of the sixth edition of Kochi-Muziris Biennale, said his approach is to think regionally and draw affinities with global histories. “My curatorial framework thinks through ideas of hospitality and care, as well as the importance of artist solidarity and friendship economies as modes of learning and survival,” he said, while discussing his curatorial approach and methodologies for KMB 2025–26 at the first instalment of the Let’s Talk series held at Kanakakunnu Palace here on Tuesday. Bose Krishnamachari, president of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, delivered the introduction, followed by a presentation on the history of the biennale and its programmes by Mario D’Souza, director of programmes at Kochi Biennale Foundation. The programme marked the beginning of a series of public conversations that will travel across Kerala in the lead-up to the sixth edition of KMB 2025-26.
