Improve road safety at blind spots on Tiruchi-Chennai National Highway: Arun Nehru urges NHAI

The Hindu

Perambalur Member of Parliament K. N. Arun Nehru has asked the National Highways Authority of India to chalk out a plan of action to reduce the number of accidents on the Tiruchi-Chennai Highway. He told The Hindu that eight spots on the highway between Tiruchi and Perambalur were identified as blind spots. Blind spots might require suitable infrastructure to check the accidents. He had planned to meet the NHAI officials in New Delhi to impress upon them the need to sanction funds to improve road safety at the blind spots.
