Chairs thrown amid chaos at Bihar vaccination centre, video goes viral

Chaos ensued outside a vaccination centre in Bihar on Wednesday as hundreds of people, waiting for hours in a serpentine queue to get their Covid-19 vaccine, turned impatient and resorted to pushing and throwing chairs at one another. WATCH VIDEO HERE: People had been standing in the queue outside the vaccination centre since 6 am. Birendra Kumar, Mohammad Tasour Alam and Pushpa Devi, who had also come to get vaccinated, said only four people had been administered the vaccine since morning. Gopalganj civil surgeon Dr Yogendra Mahto refused to speak on the matter when asked about the situation at the Ambedkar vaccination centre.
