Kicking off October next year, Snoop Dogg's 'I Wanna Thank Me' tour will see the Californian rapper headline venues in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The tour takes its name from Snoop Dogg's 17th studio album and accompanying career-spanning documentary of the same name, released in 2019. Loading First turning heads on Dr. Dre's 1992 masterpiece The Chronic, Snoop Dogg is one of the founding voices of the gangsta rap era, but he found success well after the genre's boom times began waning. Snoop isn't just a living hip hop icon, he's an entrepreneur and bona fide pop culture staple that spans movies, memes, his own cannabis business, and questionable cooking shows.
