Infosys To Resume Trainee Assessment On March 18 After Postponement: Report
ABP NewsInfosys is reportedly set to assess approximately 1,200 trainee engineers on March 18, after postponing the test indefinitely last month, according to a Business Standard report citing a source familiar with the matter. The decision comes after the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate filed a complaint against Infosys, alleging the unethical and unlawful termination of over 700 freshers. The sudden termination of previous batches without proper procedure, along with the suspension of upcoming assessments, points to an effort to avoid scrutiny. “The abrupt termination of the previous batch without due process and the subsequent suspension of assessments for future batches indicate a clear attempt to avoid further scrutiny,” said Harpreet Singh Saluja, president of the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate.
