Apple may push back new iOS features this year to focus on reliability and performance

There are a few reasons that make one believe that 2017 was not the best year for Apple. Axiom has reported that Apple will be delaying some iOS features to next year as the company is looking to focus on addressing performance and reliability issues first. Apple’s decision comes following a pretty difficult few months for the company after it confessed to intentionally throttling performance of older iPhone models to prevent shutdowns. Earlier this month, Apple announced that iOS 11.3 would allow users to view battery health and disable the power management feature. Battery issues aside, Apple’s latest iOS 11 update has faced a number of issues in itself to warrant a break from introducing new features.
