Read our privacy policy A second season of the hit HBO series Watchmen is unlikely to happen, it has emerged, after creator Damon Lindelof expressed his lack of interest in making more episodes. However, Lindelof told USA Today that he has told the story he wants to tell and has no interest in a second season, though he gave his blessing to HBO should the network want to pursue a new season with another writer-producer. Sadly for fans this is unlikely to happen, as HBO programming chief Casey Bloys said: “It would be hard to imagine doing it without Damon involved in some way.” Watchmen starred Regina King as a masked cop in Tulsa, in a 2019 when Robert Redford is president.
