New European model to clash with Indians, Japanese, Koreans in compact SUV segment

The Kylaq boasts more than 25 standard active and passive safety features, including six airbags, traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake distribution, brake disc wiping, roll over protection, motor slip regulation, electronic differential lock, passenger airbag de-activation, multi collision braking and ISOFIX seats. In terms of exterior and interior features, the Kylaq gets LED headlamps, foglamps and taillamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, six-way electric front seats, ventilated front seats, leatherette seats, automatic climate control, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 8-inch instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, ambient lighting, cruise control, steering-mounted paddle-shifters, and an electric sunroof. The carmaker has claimed that the package will enable the Kylaq to have the lowest maintenance cost in the compact SUV segment at Rs 0.24/km for five years, for the first 33,333 customers.
