During Tuesday night’s episode of the fifth series, the islanders were asked to choose a couple to eliminate from the competition following Jourdan Raine and Danny Williams’ exit from the show the previous evening. Sitting in front of the contestants at risk of leaving the show, Amy Hart and her partner Curtis Pritchard and Lucie Donlan and George, basketball player Ovie wasn’t afraid to show his emotions at the prospect of his friend, George, leaving. Following Amy and George’s elimination from the villa, Ovie told Anna: “I’m suppose to be one of his only friends and I didn’t even fight for him.” In the diary room, the sportsman added that George’s exit from the show “was a bitter pill to swallow”.
