Mr Zelenskyy's office later said he had also visited national guard positions in the Odesa region, where he thanked troops for their service, saying: "As long as you live, there is a strong Ukrainian wall that protects our country." Sievierodonetsk expecting influx of Russian reservists On the battlefields, the industrial city of Sievierodonetsk — a prime target in Moscow's offensive to seize full control of the eastern Luhansk region — was under heavy artillery and rocket fire as the Russian forces attacked areas outside the city, the Ukrainian military said on Saturday.
