Mercedes GLE Facelift at Rs 96.4 Lakh and AMG C43 at Rs 98 Lakh Launched
Deccan ChroniclePune: Mercedes-Benz, India’s biggest German luxury carmaker, on Thursday introduced two new cars, the GLE SUV with a starting price at Rs 96.40 lakh and the AMG C 43 4Matic performance sedan at Rs 98 lakh at pan India showroom to cash in on the festive demand. The Mercedes GLE facelift competes with luxury SUVs like the BMW X5, the Audi Q7, and the Range Rover Velar. The Mercedes GLE facelift SUV is sold in three trims: The GLE 300d gets a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel that makes 269hp and 550 Nm, the GLE 450d gets a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel that puts out 367hp and 750 Nm and the petrol-powered GLE 450 gets a 3.0-litre engine that produces 381hp and 500 Nm. The AMG C43 is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine which is paired with an electric turbocharger and a 48V mild-hybrid system.
